Hi, my name is Nurit Rotbart, and I believe that feeling comfortable and connected with your counselor is one of the most important parts of beginning therapy. Starting counseling can feel intimidating, so I think it’s important that you have a sense of who I am before we begin working together.

My approach to counseling is warm, supportive, and genuine. I see therapy as a collaborative process where we work together to better understand what’s going on beneath the surface while also finding practical ways to help you feel more grounded, confident, and in control moving forward. I believe that real change happens through honest connection, trust, and feeling truly heard without judgment.

I work primarily with women who are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, burned out, or struggling to keep everything together on their own. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, relationship stress, pregnancy, postpartum changes, or simply feeling emotionally exhausted from carrying too much for too long. I believe people often don’t need someone to “fix” them, but rather someone who can sit beside them, genuinely listen, and help them feel less alone while working through life’s challenges together. I also value humor when the time feels right, and believe it can be an important part of building a real and comfortable connection in therapy.

My Background:

I think counseling was always a natural path for me. I have always been fascinated by human interaction, relationships, and emotional well-being, so there was never much doubt that I would choose a career centered around working with people and the depths the human mind. I spent over 10 years on the East Coast for college and graduate school before eventually moving back to Colorado to raise my 4 beautiful children and continue my work as a counselor. Helping people feel more understood, supported, and connected is something I truly value and find meaningful in the work I do.

I understand that starting counseling can feel overwhelming, especially when you’re already carrying a lot on your own. Finding the right counselor and taking that first step is not always easy, which is why I value making the process feel simple, comfortable, and easy to navigate from the beginning. I believe therapy should feel collaborative and supportive, with a smooth intake process that helps you get started quickly and focus more on what you’re looking for support with. Reach out today and let’s get started!
